More and more programs are accepting the Executive Assessment (EA)!!!
EA was introduced as an alternative to the GMAT or GRE that would require less preparation time while still allowing Executive MBA (EMBA) programs to effectively evaluate applicants’ business school readiness. After the introduction of the Executive Assessment test by GMAC in 2016, only six leading schools accepted the score for their Executive MBA programs. However, it didn’t take long for the test’s popularity to rapidly grow, and it now supports over 200 programs—and not just Executive MBA programs, but also Part-Time, Online, Flexible, and even Full-Time MBA programs, , to select business master’s programs. ARINGO MBA Admissions Consulting has assisted 10s of MBA candidates get accepted to top Business Schools with an EA test result.
About EA:
Like the GMAT test, the Executive Assessment (EA) is an admissions exam designed specifically for business school and MBA admissions. Originally the exam was designed for Executive MBA programs (EMBA). An EMBA is a type of MBA specifically geared toward established, experienced managers who want to advance their careers to even higher levels. However, more and more full-time MBA programs are accepting the EA test as well.
You can read here more about the differences between the full time MBA and the part time Executive MBA: https://aringo.com/mba-vs-emba-vs-mim/
Like the other tests, EA can be taken both online and at the test centers. The test is 90 minutes long with 3 sections (Integrated Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning) totaling 40 questions. The overall scaled score is in the range of 100 to 200 with a minimum possible score of 126 and a maximum possible score of 174.
The test evaluates the candidates’ business school readiness. It values the knowledge and real-world experience that the test taker will bring to the program.
