MBA Deadlines for International Candidates
Many top business schools do not mention specific deadlines for international candidates, but as these schools are worried international candidates will not complete their visa processes in time, they advise them to apply in earlier rounds. The following schools address these issues and explicitly advise international MBA candidates on their last deadlines:
- Duke – “*International applicants should apply in EA, Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3 for visa processing.”
- HEC – “For non EU nationals, we encourage you to apply sooner (not in last 2 rounds) due to housing and student visas”.
- UNC – Round 3 is the final deadline for international applicants.
- NYU – for Tech MBA and Fashion MBA programs, Only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents may apply by round 4 deadline. Applicants who are non-U.S. citizens at the time of submitting their application must apply no later than the January 6 deadline.
- Georgetown – Note for international candidates: Those requiring an F-1 visa to study at Georgetown McDonough are encouraged to apply in Early Action, Round 1, or Round 2 to allow sufficient time for I-20 processing.
- Mendoza –
- International candidates are strongly encouraged to apply by January 7, 2025, to allow time for visa paperwork and processing.
- Rice – The Round 4 deadline is for domestic candidates only (U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents). International candidates should apply by round 3.
- Foster – Round 2 (Jan 7, 2025) is the Final Deadline for International Applicants.
- Marriott – Round 3 (March 1, 2025) is the Final Deadline for International Applicants.
- Merage – Round 3 (March 1, 2025) is the Final Deadline for International Applicants.
