1 to 1½- Year MBA Programs

If you are business professional who does not have the necessary time to dedicate to a traditional MBA program 1 year MBA programs (sometimes referred to as accelerated MBA programs) may be better suited for you. Applicants enrolling in 1 year MBA programs can obtain the degree through a faster paced schedule of courses with the aim of giving you the same range of skills and information as traditional MBA programs but without hindering the progress of your career for as long as a regular MBA program normally would as the entire degree can be completed in a single year.

Not all business schools offer 1 year MBA options, but they are becoming increasingly popular all over the world, so applicants interested in this option have more options to choose from than in the past.

However, opting for a an accelerated MBA program will narrow the applicant’s options with the top schools in the world considerably, as only a few of them, especially in the US, offer shorter MBA programs. In Europe one year MBA programs are more common, however, so applicants wishing to combine a fast degree with a prestigious school are often recommended to look for European schools in order to combine the two.
