An article on the site Poets & Quants published a letter sent to Wharton candidates that reveals two interview questions candidates should be prepared to answer, as well as additional details about the new group interview.

The questions are:

“What one talent or strength should a leader rely on most in daily life?”

“If you could teach one thing about innovation to a group of new employees, what would it be?”

In addition, the letter explains that candidates invited to an interview will also be automatically invited to a group interview with 5-6 additional candidates, a situation in which they will have to discuss a topic or problem from the “real world” with other candidates and demonstrate to the admissions committee how they analyze specific situations and can contribute to the Wharton community.

According to Wharton, preparation for the personal and group interview should not exceed one hour, and off-campus interviews will be conducted in Dubai, London, Mexico City, Mumbai, New Delhi, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo.
