Following the lead of several other top business schools, such as MIT, who added a MiM program last year and Duke, who hadded a MiM program last year, Cornell has just announced that they will be launching a 12 month Masters in Management degree in 2017 as well. The program will be branded “Masters in Professional Studies” and the reason Cornell will be launching the program is “the global popularity” of MiM programs, traditionally a largely European phenomenon that is now catching on in the US as well, according to Business Because.

MiM programs are intended for professionals at the beginning of their career and do not require the same amount of work experience as traditional MBA programs do. Read more about MiM programs on our dedicated page to the phenomenon here.
