Ross school of business at the University of Michigan announced a new deferral policy for international candidates. Since most visa offices around the world are closed with no confirmed reopen date, Ross will offer international students the option to request a deferral to Fall 2021 or Fall 2022. Ross also decided that all recruiting activities will be conducted virtually this academic year.

Earlier this year, other top MBA programs (HBS, Stanford, Darden) also announced they will allow international candidates who were admitted to the MBA programs that start this year to defer to next year.

Michigan’s flexibility is also reflected in the MBA admission process – Ross will allow candidates to submit MCAT, LSAT, PCAT, or DAT test scores instead of GMAT/GRE scores. The deadlines for Fall 2021 MBA application are Sep 14, Jan 4, Mar 29 and June 1.
